Tusk Act 1 is the ranged S. Nail pressure from a distance. You win by not entering sword range. If you cannot track a moving rider, the S letter will not aim for you.

A: Anubis (sword, afterimage dash), In A Silent Way (sound / special — HUD verbs TBA), Oyecomova (contact bombs; Pin Bomber alias Unverified), Steel Balls (Spin) (two-ball offense; Gyro teacher Unverified vs listing Spec). These kits are live. They ask cleaner inputs or cover a narrower job than S.
B: Coco Jumbo (hidden-room utility) and The Sun (sun / hide specialization). Utility is not a Stage 1 win condition. How do race ranks differ from PvP ranks?
The public list is one combined column. This wiki adds a race vs PvP read so a three-pick can be scored against the stuck step. Sandman climbs on the race column and sits lower as a duelist. Tusk climbs on PvP range and is only a race tool if nails actually disrupt — Stage 1 cannot shoot other riders, so Tusk’s race value is mostly later PvP and knockoff pressure, not a Stage 1 gun. Star Platinum is PvP-up, race-neutral. Anubis is PvP-up if you connect the dash. Coco Jumbo / The Sun are race-down.

Why Tusk is not a Stage 1 sniper
Allthings-style recaps: Stage 1 has no shooter-versus-rider. You may still shoot hazards (dynamite, cactus, barrels — those sabotage notes are Unverified against the no-shoot-riders rule, so the safe sentence is: shoot hazards, not riders). Tusk’s S is a Stage 2 / Battlegrounds S unless a HUD later shows nails legal on Stage 1 riders.
